Training – Earn While You Learn!
Wealthy Affiliate offers a step by step approach to teaching new students how to make money online with affiliate marketing. It uses a combination of video and text to deliver its content and a neat progress bar to help you keep track of where you are in the course.
You can also earn badges for completing milestones, such as getting ranked on google for example, which are proudly displayed on your Wealthy Affiliate community profile.
The only thing I didn’t like about the training was the text, but that’s nitpicking because there isn’t a lot of text to read and the video training is more than sufficient to cover the topic.
Support – Hello, I need hel.. OH! uh.. Never mind..
Wealthy Affiliate Support is FAST. I don’t know if Wealthy Affiliate has access to a secret cabal of superheroes or speed demons but their support team is shockingly good. When I first signed up for Wealthy Affiliate, I expected the support team to be like every other support team I’ve encountered in other online courses I’ve taken (which often took more than 24 hours to get back to me). I’m happy to report that this is not the case with Wealthy Affiliate Support, at the most, I waited maybe an hour or two before receiving a thorough reply. The Wealthy Affiliate support team always goes above and beyond to help you or direct you to someone who can.
Additionally, the community is also encouraged to help each other out and more often than not, you’ll get the help you need from a community member before the support team, which is a huge advantage that Wealthy Affiliate has over their competition, more on that later.
Overall, I’m more than satisfied with the support that the official support team offers but the assistance provided by the community is the proverbial cherry on top of an already delicious sundae flavour of your choice.
Tools – Even Batman Would Be Jealous…
Wealthy Affiliate provides EVERYTHING you need to get started. Many online courses tend to send you off-site and get you to buy additional software (through their affiliate links) after you already paid an obscene entry price. This is not the case with Wealthy Affiliate, there are no upsells.
Wealthy Affiliate is more than just an online course, it’s an all-inclusive platform, in addition to the training, it also provides the tools you need to go from complete beginner to master affiliate marketer. There is absolutely ZERO need to go anywhere else.

Community – A community that earns together stays together
In a word: WOW! This community is active, vibrant and utterly fantastic, within the first few hours, I formed several connections with helpful people and forged a deep bond with them in a short period. I think this is directly related to the premium membership price because it is high enough to attract quality members and low enough that ANYONE can afford it. This the total opposite of my experience with High priced courses ($1000+), they tend to have communities but are, for the most part, tend to be quite vacant mostly due to the high price point and simply don’t have the content to justify the high price tag.
The founders are ACTIVE in the community and you can message them directly, and yes they actually respond and I’m not talking about lazy autoresponders. Not only is this incredibly refreshing and encouraging to have DIRECT access to the founders, it’s very rare in the make money online space, in my experience with the majority of other courses I’ve taken, but the founders also were almost always absent and had their most prominent members take their place.
That being said, when you become a member of Wealthy Affiliate, I would highly recommend following as many people as you can so you can pick and choose the ones you click with the most. You are also more likely to get the help you need.
Success Stories – More than just testimonials
There are MANY success stories on Wealthy Affiliate. More importantly, these are not just success stories that you would often find featured prominently on most affiliate marketing training websites, in fact, I tend to be wary of those because you can never be sure that those are even real, call me jaded but the make money online community is saturated with fake reviews; With the Wealthy Affiliate platform, you can actually talk to these people directly and prove to yourself that these are not canned, paid reviews like a lot of other sites out there use.
Many people within the Wealthy Affiliate community have a blog they update regularly and are encouraged to do so. What I love most about that is you can see that these are people who started out with little to no experience, just like you, and became successful. When you follow their personal blog posts you can see how their thoughts progressed from a beginner mindset to a master affiliate marketer mindset, more importantly, you can talk to these people directly via the messaging system and ask them for help or insight and 9.9 times out of 10, they are more than happy to assist you.

The Competition – Why Pay when you can learn for “free”?
So you might be asking: But Kyle, why would I pay for Wealthy Affiliate premium membership when I can go on YouTube and learn Affiliate Marketing for “free?” I’m glad you asked that because there is A LOT of very BAD information being taught on YouTube and overpriced courses. It usually goes something like this: Sign up for an email autoresponder service, find a low-quality, overpriced product you never used on an Affiliate Marketplace, make a landing page, promote your link on Bing and watch the money roll in. Sound Familiar? Not only is this method a waste of time, but it’s also unethical, why promote a product you never used when you can promote products you have already used and just didn’t realize? Wealthy Affiliate is an amazing platform. I wish I signed up for it years ago when I first heard about it. Everything from its stunning website and course material, to its fantastic community, is top-notch and worth every penny.
As for the downsides, if you want to use Wealthy Affiliate’s hosting service, you are locked into using WordPress. Which is either a positive or negative. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of WordPress at the time of this writing, in fact, I avoided it like the plague because I come from a drop shipping background and I’m used to using a simple drag-and-drop website builder like WIX and Shopify which helped me to pump out professional eCommerce websites in a matter of minutes. WordPress takes a bit more effort to learn but it’s worth it because of the additional options it offers.
If you never used WordPress before, it can be a bit intimidating BUT Wealthy Affiliate has an entire course on WordPress to ease your transition, combined with the Wealthy Affiliate Support team had me up and running in a few hours and I’m proud to say that WordPress is starting to grow on me and I’m confident that I can take these new skills I learned and apply them to things outside of e-Commerce such as a Fiver gig or making my own Udemy Course.
